Favorites from Milan

Francesco Scognamiglio

It felt like this collection wasn't as bold as Scognamiglio's last, but no one can deny that there are a lot of great pieces. These garments are more commercial and will definitely sell. For all fashionistas this is the perfect every-day wardrobe: a lot of leather both skirts and dresses, shirts with stunning prints and over-sized coats.

Etro really impressed me with their chest-prints we should call them tattoo prints. The most stunning is a cut-out print on a black velvet dress. Through out the collection the focus lies on the waist with leather belts that really mark the middle section. One jacket that is fantastic (photo above, right) is the one with laser-cut leather and wavy layers - exquisite is the word one wants to use.

Just Cavalli

I've always liked Robert Cavalli, but I haven't been a big fan of the Just Cavalli line.  Though this time I was really impressed, it felt very modern and chic. Just look at the nude colored jacket with a collar in black leather, I would love to wear that today.

Yesterday's Outfit - Talk Show Host

Yesterday was an eventful day, I have a new very exciting project that I will announce soon her on the blog. In the evening I attended Sweden and Norway's biggest talk show - Skavlan, I wasn't a guest but I was in the studio watching the production which was fun. The beautiful actress Alicia Wikander was there, she will soon be seen in the movie Anna Karenina which also stares Keira Knightley and Jude Law.

Today's Craving - Le-Tan's Milk Bag

Annebelle Dexter-Jones looked super cute at Purple Magzine and BLK DNM's dinner party at NY fashion week. She had a milk-box from Olympia Le-Tan's bag colletion, it's such a fun and unique piece. If you didn't know Annabelle is a model, fashion designer and André Saraiva's girlfriend and last but not least the daughter of stylish Anne Dexter-Jones.

The hottest shows & party from London:

Without bragging too much I think I succeeded quite well picking out the best looks from the shows at London fashion week - the garments that unravel the whole picture of the collection, but also are eye-catching.
Erdem are the masters of prints but even the master can be influenced by other designers it seems, in this case: Mary Katrantzou. Still everything felt fresh and feminine, it seems purple will be one of autumn's it-colours (it's safe to say it's a trend; this colour has been seen in several shows). I felt they used lace very cleverly in a yellow nuance but they also incorporated into other fabrics.

Matthew Williamson

When I saw the first look coming down the catwalk, I instantly was mesmerized by a cool fur with unusual colours like turquoise. I don't want to plan too far into the future but such a hot fur can't be forgotten, it's on my wish-list for next winter.

John Rocha

There are those days when one wears all-black, it might be because it looks professional or it makes one feel hot/sexy or it's what looks smokin' that specific day.  I have a special thing for transparent garments, so you can imagine I liked Rocha's creations a lot. It feels like he has a sense of what women want to wear when they go out at night. It's hard to pick one of these, they are all gorgeous.

 Mary Katrantzou

After Katrantzou's last season, and now her sold out collaboration with Topshop, she's on everyones lips. This is surly because of her digital prints being surreal masterpieces, they've become  tremendously popular. There are many designers lining up to copy this print trend. The statement dress that blew my mind was the green maze-dress (photo above), it's spectacular and I want to see it up-close.

Today's Outfit

Another slippery day on town, I'm in despair! There are ice everywhere and if you take a wrong step it will with out adoubt result in a fall. At least if I fell I wouldn't have gotten that wet, because I was wearing blue leather pants. I wish i was walking down Bond street or sitting in the lobby of the Savoy Hotel, waiting for another show to start. But I'm following London Fashion Week from my Mac, I love Peter Pilotto's collection. I'll report soon on all of the hottest looks.
